I was eager to copy this magic myself, and henna has always been close to my heart. There is still nothing better to me than dark maroon stained palms in all of their patterned glory, the colour of joy, tradition, and ceremony. The intricacies and trends of this age old tradition fascinate me, but there is no greater motivator than watching the joy spread across a person’s face as they see beautiful patterns adorn their skin.
